Frisbee Golf, Bocce and Horseshoes should be our national sports. I'm rubbish at Ultimate Frisbee though.

I had no idea there were courses or specialty discs. How much does a round cost? How much for a disc?

Rounds are free at most courses, minus of course the private courses. Disc range from 8 dollars to about 15.

This is one of my favorite little ace holes at the local park. It's a tuff little ace, not a lot of room for error.

First hole at the same course. I throw a thumber over the trees. You start on a platform a bit more elevated than the angle in the picture. So instead of trying to throw low under the trees, I huck one straight to the basket over them.

Better picture of the platform for the hole above.

Holy shit that looks amazing. After finals I'm fucking finding some designs for you. You should seriously look into buying disc in bulk, then doing custom art for them. Thats way too good not to be making money off of.

costs are based on the plastics used in the disc, pro plastic discs will run $17-20, but they last for ever and rarely get nicks or warped when hitting trees or pavement, but you could buy that same disc in a cheaper plastic like dx for under $10, its a good way to figure out what discs work for you. most disc courses are free but ive found some beautiful ones that are kept up by landscaping companies, they'll charge around $5 but i think its worth it every once and a while

I was thinking about dying my putter to look like captain america's shield.

that would be awesome... i just finished my fucking venom disc and im pissed that its raining or i would go throw the shit out of it.

    Finished:

    With the design i used:

    With the comic:

it sucked because the dye i use for green had a bunch of brown in it and wouldnt turn out on the disc so i ended up breaking a green permanent marker and mixed it with acetone for the drool. it gives it this wierd textured look. i think it turned out really fucking cool.

I've found that a magic eraser is pretty good for clearing off old graphics from discs, not sure what you use.

i use acetone. espeically for red stamps. you have to do it super accurate and fast or you end up with a pink shade on your disc.

Getting better with my turbo putting. Made some pretty good length putts today. Pulled hammy isn't helping my drives.

That's awesome I thought about doing it with a few of my discs. I was actually able to get out and play 9 the other day before it got too cold. Can't wait till warmer weather.

So the days here have been extremely nice. Got a few rounds in during the warmer weather (and one during a heavy snow). Does anyone know any good DG forums?
