I find that Breaking Bad is one of the most compelling shows on TV. In each episode we can see that
Breaking Bad is a reflection of our society as it stands today. Watching Walter White go from someone
who stays within the boundaries to one entering another universe that is dark and evil is quite amazing.
Breaking Bad is perhaps the one TV show that is most like a Shakespeare drama in which the moral dilemmas are explored. Some other shows may explore moral dilemmas but not like Breaking Bad that goes further with each episode into that universe which Walter White now inhabits. The writing and acting in BB is first rate and Cranston and Paul are outstanding. What an interesting father/son relationship that has developed between them. Another point to made about BB-the "secondary" characters are given their time on the stage which adds to the depth of this show. I have watched each episode of BB since day 1 and unlike some other post Mad Men efforts BB hits the target. Rubicon, The Killing and the Zombie shows try way too hard . Breaking Bad stands on its own and with Mad Men explores the dark recesses and moral dilemmas of modern American life.
all the best from a writing expert
