Ems if you've got some extra parts, I've got a friend who is in the process of doing a conversion that needs a few things.

    Crank/bottom bracket
    Wheelset
    etc

btw ems, your bike is sick.

I just picked up a swobo, should be here soon.

Unsure of the specifics, I'd have to take a closer look at the bike. It's a sick vintage trek road frame in mint condition.

I don't have the swobo yet, should be here tomorrow, but I'll post a ton of pics when I get it.

Instead, here's some pics of my friends new powercoat + aerospoke:

My roommate's pista is pretty decent too, I'll grab some pics of that tomorrow.

the obey bike isnt that new, and to be honest i dont think it was worth its 1,000 price tag it first had. now they're about 800, still a bit pricey.

i just put my leader up on velospace. i'll make one for my schwinn when its done

This is what I ride. I don't have a better image.

    http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkM...d=08Crosstrail

I would of purchased a road/commuter bike, but I just got back into biking and while trying to lose a lot of weight I felt more comfortable on this one when I went shopping.

My average is about 100-120 miles a week depending on the weather. I can go further every week though.

Like if you're around hilly terrain, don't bother or anything like that?

its not a hassle really, but it takes practice practice practice.

people seem to underestimate this one part: there are NO brakes. if you want to stop, you rely on your leg force to resist the forward momentum of the pedals/wheels......... or you can be really rad like me and skid your ass off =]

mines not a single speed, it has shimano sora breaks.

the way i sit on my bike, which im pretty sure is how you're supposed to is with my legs almost hitting a full extension on the peddle down, so when i had straps on there my feet would get caught and i almost died
