No, I'm not really a fan of any CAO.

Still very hard there are so many...

Bolivar Petit Corona - Great newbie cigar and a great starter for Bolis.

El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme - Earthy leathery flavor.

Fonseca Cadetes- Small but good for a quick smoke.

H.Upmann Connoisseur No 1 - Coffee flavors and generally pleasant.

Montecristo No 2 - Generally a great smoke but be careful some can be horrible because of the high volume of production.

Montecristo No 4 - Awesome smoke.

Partagas Shorts - Great start to the Partagas line.

Partagas 898 Varnished - Getting sick of writing descriptions blahhhhhhhh

    Ramon Allones Specially Selected

    Romeo y Julieta Churchills

San Cristoba De La Habana El Principe

    Trinidad Fundadore

The list goes on and on and on

Just picked up some cigars, thanks to this thread reminding me I needed some more.

Got some El Rey Del Mundo robusto's, Hoyo De Monterrey Excalibur, and some Gran Habano #3's.

Smoked one of the El Rey Del Mundo robusto's and it was great.

so i came back this last week. and got 20 cigars in total.

got 9 x Romeo y Julieta No. 3s. they tasted very good.

and 12x montecristos, petite edmundos. these are very fat in ring sizes. and very tasty.

now my question is, i dont have a humidifer box. wheres the best place in my house i can store them? and each of my cigars have a metal shell casing. would that be good enough if i place in the basement in the storage room?

For the longest time I used a Tupperware container to store my sticks. I also would pick up a small humi-pouch to add some humidity for it. It seemed to work well as long as you put it in a closet or something. The other thing that you can do is pick up a cheap humidor. My first was an ACID branded humidor I got for 7 bucks on cigarbid.com. But unless you have a room in your house that has about 70% humidity, I would look into one of those options.

Ugh why is this in this particular subforum

Anyways, I would like to get a humidor. Something that would fit 10-25 cigars total. Any suggestions on places to buy online, and what kind of humidifier I should use?

Hopefully someone still reads this that can help...

I'm looking to jumpstart my collection again. I had a few Cuban Cohibas but smoked them a while back and the humidor is vacant. I have a lil money now and wanna get 3-7 cigars that would be a good starter set. Any thoughts on this ? Assume $5-10 per cigar at most, Unless it's truly a top of the line.

PS. I'm in Texas, DFW area, so I can get to some of the nicer shops in the area.

I love cigars and I was finally able to get started. My humidor is a small cheap one but i'll have to upgrade it to beads and get a humidity reader.

Rocky Patel Edge, Oliva Serie V, Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real, Te-Amo World Selection Honduras, and Oliva Serie G

And I smoked a Casa Magna Colorado at a lounge where I bought all this. Reallllllly good.
