Sex Drive - 8/10 Seth Green was fucking hilarious and it was better than your usual college roadtrip movie.

    These were all yesterday:

Sex Drive: 4/10. Nutsnack doesn't know what he's talking about.
Role Models: 7/10. Really funny, the LARPing scenes were awesome, well-acted by everyone.
Anacondas 3: 1/10. Low budget, awful special effects, awful acting, and not even entertaining bad. I turned it off with about half an hour to go because it just wasn't worth it.

The Wrestler - 7/10 - Very simple movie even for Aronofsky but it was worth watching. It was almost too simple for me. However, Aronofsky has this amazing knack of making his actors and actresses bring their A+ game on the screen, Sean Gullette, Ellen Burstyn, Mickey Rourke. The only thing missing was a cameo by Mark Margolis (edit - oh fuck, he was actually in Wrestler as Lenny, wow and I had no idea).

Up next on queue - Waltz with Bashir, Synecdoche, New York, and Woyzeck. Probably gonna catch Woyzeck first.

Watched Enemy of the State - 7/10 - Too much fake technology irks me ("rotate the view 75"), but overall decent enough.

Only got to see Slumdog last night. 8/10. Very good, but Doubt gets my vote for best movie of last year so far. The casting was exemplary and the children were very good in it. Very well done.

    got these two via netflix.

the birdcage - 7/10. overall pretty funny, plus seeing gene hackman in drag... that's something different.

journey to the ctr of the earth - 6/7/10. the graphics were really cool, but brendan fraiser's cheesy screaming, "hold on!!!" gets to me.

Woyzeck - 5.5/10 I'm torn on this one, it was an alright movie. Very weak on Herzog/Kinski standards but there is most definitely an incredible saving grace for this movie. Kinski. I don't understand how Kinski can make every emotion absolutely flawless. He shows real emotion and brings up the right ones on screen. The movie itself was bordering on pretentious but I didn't care because I was mesmerized in Kinski.

Synecdoche, New York - N/A/10 - ........ terrible fucking pacing and editing, i couldnt even get past 25 minutes. There was no flow to it, I couldn't even sit still and be engaged into this.

Saw Watchmen - 7/10 - I'm new to the series, so I don't know much about it, but I thought there was a bit too much character development, and not enough ass kicking and sleuthing. Too much blue penis too. I was entertained, but I think it could have been about a half hour shorter and done just as good a job.

Just watched Philadelphia Experiment because I haven't seen it since I was like 13. Still good... maybe 3.5 stars. About to watch Return of the Living Dead, from 1980-something. Sure to be a winner.

Vanishing Point - 8/10 Awesome car, great visuals (cinematography seems modern even today), kind of lame ending
