    Any knife people out there

Just bought what I would consider my first quality knife. Its a Spyderco Endura 4 with a full flat grind. I wanted a decent flip knife for every day use, I have a SOG multi tool and a SOG Seal Pup but neither are really useful for something you carry with you. So what does everyone else use for their daily use knife if any at all?

    CRKT M21-02
    http://www.crkt.com/cgi-bin/crkt.pl?...arch_id=283147
Got this thing for 40$ on amazon
its solid linerlock knife and i never have to worry about it closing up on my hand with the autolocks feature. AUS8 is a decent enough steel, easy to sharpen although it dulls somewhat quickly with hard use. Its a relatively larger EDC knife which makes it easy to work with/hold comfortably in my hands. I love this knife, carry it with me everywhere i go. I do wish sometimes that i had purchased the G10 scaled version of this though because the aluminium handle seems a little slick at times.

I own a couple Kershaws and a spiderco. I got all of them at the local gun shows. Best place for me to get them because I get to negotiate with the vendors.

I love my CRKT, but the other brand that I would consider is Kershaw. I have been really impressed with both brands. I personally own and carry a CRKT M16-13SFG and really like it because of the ease of opening and knowing my hand isn't going to easily slide down the blade.

I got a Emerson with the "wave feature" I love it with my job. When I need a knife quick its there. The only thing that I dislike is if I want to show it to anyone I gotta be careful taking it out so it doesn't open.

Aus-8 Steel vs VG-10, Ill take VG-10 any day. Granted I did just buy a SOG Flash I a few days ago for legal carry into Boston (where I work) because Ive heard Boston city limits has a 2.5" blade size law. I'm a bit concerned because I work on the water in a salt area and I know AUS-8 has pretty bad rust resistance in comparison.

i hear you on that, but AUS-8 is generally 100$ cheaper and makes for a good beater blade, plus if you take decent care of it(clean it once in a while and dont leave it dipped into sand/salt water), it wont rust on you. Plus the downside of VG-10 is that it will chip on you if you accidentally strike the blade onto a hard surface such as concrete where as with AUS-8, it will just fold over on itself. I live on the coast of SC and have had my knife for over 6 months and havent had any rust problems so far.

    My brother owns this beaut

    http://www.kershawknives.com/product...&brand=kershaw

I absolutely love the finish, and it's help up through months of work and getting beat up. It's by far the sleekest, sharpest blade I've seen and felt in my life, and the opening action couldn't be better. I'm waiting to pick one up myself
    This is not for you.

I have one just like this but mines blue. I love the way it opens so smooth and it definitely is sharp as hell. I carry it everywhere I go
