    Curren$y Thread (Weekend at Burnie's - 6/28/2011)

Great album, bought it yesterday. If you like hip hop and/or smoking weed, you should get this album. Some of the highlights are Prioritize, Address, Life Under the Scope, and King Kong, i'll put up the videos so that everyone can get a feel for his music. I feel his best mixtapes are Smokee Robinson and Jet Files, and he has an awesome mixtape (Maybe my favorite) with Wiz Khalifa called How Fly. If you like these songs I highly recommend buying the album.

I've been getting into him and Khalifa a lot more lately and like what I hear. Haven't caught up to getting Curren$y's new stuff, so thanks for the motivation!

didn't realize this was coming out so quick, fuck yeah thanks for letting me know

been a fan of his shit for a while now since he was just putting out mixtapes, i love that laid black flow and all his songs are just real chill, and since i'm almost always blazing unless i'm at work, it's always good to listen to (not that i'm saying you need to be high to enjoy it)

Pilot Talk 2 coming soon. Curren$y confirmed that Erykah Badu, Camp Lo and Raekwon will be on the album. Rumored for an October release.

Check the DL forum, I was gonna post the mediafire link but I cant here.

Nothin' But Us ft. Smoke DZA and Scaling the Building ft. Wiz Khalifa we're supposed to be on it as well, but they got moved to Ski Beatz's 24 Hour Karate School album, which gets released September 21st. (Ski Beatz produced nearly the entire Pilot Talk album)

I also read in an interview that he said he's gonna be on Blakroc 2.

I didn't know anything about Blakroc or Blakroc too until a second ago. I see that not only is Curren$y involved in the next addition, but so is The Cool Kids and Wiz Khalifa. Now I'm hyped for that and must hunt down the first Blakroc...plus maybe a few Black Keys albums.

Thanks for all the updates auror. It's hard to keep up with all my favorite hip-hop artists/groups sometimes since all of them aren't on Facebook/Twitter/etc.

Currensy definitely knows how to rhyme. Pilot Talk is the perfect album to just kick back to. The beats, along with his voice, are so chill.
I can't wait for his next album, and I can't wait for blacroc 2. The first one was amazing.

Definitely check out How Fly w/ Wiz Khalifa, and Smokee Robinson. He released two Digital-Only albums last year, This Ain't No Mixtape and The Jet Files which are both top notch. They're available for download on Amalgam Digitals website, but you can find them elsewhere if you don't want to pay.

i agree. but i think hes a little TOO chill. kinda gets boring when he has the same delivery on every song.
