That team has been a defensive powerhouse for so long that I think people are going to be surprised to see that the D isn't that great and the offense is sick.

Yeah I knew that, I was implying with him out they can't afford another one. I guess we'll see what an offensive Ravens looks like for the first time.

Same. I'd also like flacco to not suck against good D's.

WTF ? maybe they think favre is coming back next season
I don't know why they Giants would even pick him up, that guy is getting swapped around like a blunt at a party past few years. I didn't watch Vikings pre-season so I really don't know how well Sage or Tavaris did.

Cause Aaron Rodgers is a beast!

Also their Defense did pretty well last year considering it was their first year in that system. Now that it's their second year i think they'll be pretty good.

How many playoff games has Rodgers won?

Wasn't their big problem last year O-line issues?

Of course they're a good team but not elite or top 3

with the new 3-4, Raji hasn't stepped up and proved his draft worth

I think that people are conveniently forgetting that there are a lot of really good teams this year. To call any team top 3 or not top 3 at this point is difficult.

Yes, last year, their main problem was o-line issues and their pass defense. Even with Woodson, their pass defense couldnt step it up and buckle down against elite QB's which inevitably led them out of the playoffs. Rodgers hasnt won a playoff game, but he most likely will this year. The guys composure is ridiculous. He put up 45 points in the playoff game last year. He will definitely win some playoff games in his career.

    As for their problems:
Their O-line is upgraded this year, adding Bulaga. Even after training camp, Bulaga still isnt a starter which is saying something about their line this year. Clifton, Wells, and Tauscher are 100% healthy which hasnt happened in almost 3-4 years. Sitton is more mature and there never was a problem with the guy (Mike McCarthy claims Sitton will be a pro bowl lineman one day if he would get recognition). Daryn Colledge is a steady guy who is average, but solid, with Bulaga backing him up. I think their line is much improved from last year, even though the personnel isnt much changed. A lot of the sacks were also on Rodgers part, him claiming he let the ball go too late. He will only be better this year than last so he will learn. I cant see him getting sacked nearly as much as last year.

Their secondary is where I have most concern (but not much). Al Harris and Atari Bigby are on the PUP list. I think it wont hurt them as much as people think. Harris is getting older and is past his peak. As good as he was, he is only getting worse, and seems to be injury prone now. (hasnt played in all 16 games since '07) His back-up is Tramon Williams who isnt a star, but is solid and has enough experience to be a starter. GB has tabbed him to take over for Al or Charles, whoever left first. As for Bigby, he was never a great player anyway. He is injured often and was a bad coverage guy. He gets hype because he hits hard and makes fun plays to watch. Morgan Burnett is a rookie, but covers especially better than Bigby. The biggest concern for him is knowing the playbook and being 100% converted to the NFL speed from NCAA. As for the Raji comment. Raji hasnt shined and lived up to the expectations, but I think his bar for expectations was a bit too high. He was great at BC, but played in a 4-3. He is being asked to convert to a nose tackle in a 3-4 on the next level as a rookie. Along with that, he didnt even play much in the first half of the year last year, and when he did play, he didnt purely play NT. He moved around in the defense on different parts of the line. (Capers runs his 3-4, sometimes 4-3 and not to mention his psycho package with only one lineman, usually being Jenkins, their best D-lineman). I think Raji wont be THE elite NT in the game, but I think he will be much better this year and solid all around.

In a nutshell, this team is spectacular on offense with Rodgers throwing to a ton of weapons (Jennings, Driver, and Finley), along with Ryan Grant who is solid running the ball (has the second most yards in the NFL since '07, AP being 1st). Their defense is great against the run, and the young linebackers with Clay Matthews and Brad Jones will continue to get better. That is why I think everyone is up on GB this year.

Hard for me to get optimistic about my broncos. I do think Kyle Orton will have a good year but our o line is just a mess right now with rookies. And who knows how our d-line is gonna be. I have us winning 7-9.

Also I have high hopes for Tebow he won me over (wasn't happy with the pick first) but no way he does anything significant this season unless Kyle goes out with an injury.

So far they are only going us use Tebow on a special goal line formation, so I dont think we will advance to become a great qb soon.
