    If The Playoffs Started Today...

    This thread is just a novelty, obviously we're nowhere near the playoffs yet. But i thought it'd be a neat idea to see what the playoff picture/seeding would be like week after week.

    Obviously, NFL tiebreakers were used to determine the correct teams.

    Bolded teams mean that it's their first appearance in the top 6. not bolding wk 1 teams for obvious reasons.

    x - clinched playoff berth
    y - clinched division
    z - clinched 1st round bye
    * - clinched homefield advantage

    this seems like a cool concept, you better keep this updated throughout the season

    also have a feeling this might be the only time you see some of these teams up there, i'm not going to name any names but maybe the chiefs, jags

    Sorry man but your post is invalid. Tenn is behind Houston in the division and therefore couldn't be a number one seed. Hope that doesn't ruin things for you
    Lets welcome the DUKE to the Baltimore Orioles

    ehh... The weather had too much to do with that game. I think that team is better than what some people give them credit for, but I think maybe 8 wins.

    Man both teams had to play in the rain, i dont understand why people think calling the weather bad is a legitimate excuse, i mean they both had a wet/slippery field/ball, so shouldn't the best team in that game still win? i just think it is a cop out excuse when a team plays shitty

    Weather is going to influence teams differently based on how they play. Bad weather usually favors a defensive team and goes against an offensive team. I'm not putting it all on that, but saying that it doesn't influence a game is crazy.

    It's probably because their points scored is higher than any other team in the afc and that's just a ranking of the afc (and not based on division)

    And Tennessee is gone because they looked fucking horrible on offense. They gave the ball away more in one game than some teams do in almost an entire season
