    The Bang-Bang Club

I could have sworn I just made this thread...

Anyways if you don't know much about The Bang-Bang club, read up on it. After watching, War Photographer, a documentary film about James Nachtwey and doing some more research I discovered he did some work with the 4 photographers that make up the Bang-Bang Club.

You'll probably recognize this shot taken by Kevin Carter:

Anyways the movie based on these photographers was just released for download and it was actually pretty fucking decent so I highly recommend!

I know War Photography has been uploaded here, though that doesn't help you much since you don't have 500 posts.

The Bang Bang Club is out for download on whatever sites you download movies from.

It's really an excellent film and they recreate iconic shots and scenes really well. You can actually see one of the scenes they recreate in the documentary the War Photographer.

Highly recommend you get that too. Everyone should see both.

Great NYT about Joao Silva, one of the members of the Bang Bang club who lost his legs in Afghanistan last year.

    Which?

The article? Pretty interesting and inspiring to see just how much Joao loves photography.

The movie Bang-Bang Club? It's freaking awesome and informative. It has depressing moments, yeah, but I still enjoyed it.

Also again, the documentary War Photographer about James Nachtway is good too and you actually see the scene they recreate in the Bang-Bang club.
