I really want to see what they come up with for new stretch goals. I wonder how much donations have tapered....is there a graph anywhere?

LoL Season Three World Championship $2,050,000.00

They also have no way to increase the prize pool like DOTA does though.

Yes. Assuming the prize distribution stays the same as last year, each player on the winning team will make two times the amount of money that the next highest paid E-Sports "athlete" made in his entire career.

Fnatic drama was kinda sad to read.
Valve comes off pretty professional at least.

Started a fantasy league with some buddies of mine. Currently 5 slots are taken, so 5 remain. If anyone has a fantasy ticket and would like to join the id is 251723 and password ef.

To join the league launch dota2, and select community tab. From there on the bottom left is join league.

Fnatic had to go through a bunch of shit getting subs in because of Adrian who has obvious issues with mental health.
Seems like he got over it and wanted to get back to the team for TI4, but the team wanted to just drop him and move on.
They went so far as to make excuses as if the dude was still incapable of working. Another sleezy part was that they wanted to offer him his part of the prize money to appease him for kicking him out.
Valve is doing a great job of keeping control and making sure the five people they invited are going to be playing.

I can see it from Fnatic's perspective too though. The guy has panic attacks before flights. It's 50/50 whether or not he's able to perform. Is that something you want to deal with when heading to a tourney with a 10 million dollar prize pool?

I think the biggest problem is that they totally should have known about this before committing to him as a carry. They had plenty of time to get this sorted out. I dunno, it just seems like they would have dealt with it before if it was such a big problem. What changed so much over the last three months that made them not want him on their team? Did he really get that much worse mentally or can he play like he usually does? We've seen him perform just fine, so what's the deal there.
I don't know, it's really easy to see it as Fnatic not knowing what to do.
