Wireless charging - for phones and tablets

I have a Nexus 7 and a Galaxy S5 I want to get wireless charging. Does anyone current use Qi ?

I was thinking about this one
    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DG8NUC8/...KKYNRWCT&psc=1

From the research I have done, it looks like I need to by a new wireless reciever back for the S5. But for the Nexus 7 looks like it is already enabled.

The biggest thing holding me back is the current cases I use.

I use a Spigen Tough Armor case for the S5. http://www.spigen.com/galaxy-s5-case-tough-armor.html It has a metal shell. Do you think the charging will go through that? The Nexus 7 I have a leather case.

i use a nokia dt-900 charger for my motorola droid maxx, it works great. As for using a metal back that is something i would look into.

I've used a few wireless chargers, they all work. But some are finicky about where you place them or charge slower than others.

That said, buy the Tylt Vu. You'll waste money buying cheaper ones until you finally end up with the Vu.

I own it, and it's by far the best wireless charger you can buy. And I've had no problem charging my phone through even a thick case like an Otterbox Defender.

As far as metal goes, let me see if I can stick some metal behind my Nexus 7 and see if it charges. I'll get back to you.

Well I don't really know what I can find to mimic the metal on the phone. I'd just try it out and either change your case or return the charger.
