    Going to Tacoma/Seattle next week

Yeah going to Seattle next week, have a couple plans for Friday and Saturday night. Not sure what else I've got going on but I'll be there a week. Any suggestions for things to do places to see? Anyone want to see the grouchiest Oscar in the flesh let me know.

Wow, coinky-dink. I'll be there the 17-21st as well. Kirkland area mostly.

I'd be interested in what the locals think is worth seeing as well!

Was in Seattle/Tacoma about a month ago to visit my sister. Not a bad city. Here's what I suggest:

    Seattle

    Food
    -Mini Donuts from Pikes
-Sotto Voce - Excellent dipping oils. We always order from this place when we run out.
-Just walk through Pikes with an empty stomach and eat anything and everything.

    Things to Do
    -Seattle Harbor Tour - http://www.argosycruises.com
    -Pikes
-Checkout the original Starbucks store (if it's not busy).
    -Space Needle
-Chihuly Garden and Glass - Haven't been here myself but it looks great. Wicked solid reviews on Yelp/TripAdvisor
    -Seattle Aquarium
    -Seattle Mariners
    -Seattle Sounders

Check into the Seattle City Pass http://www.citypass.com/seattle

    ---

Can't offer to much on Tacoma... I was only there for a day to see my sister.

    Tacoma

    Things to Do
-Museum of Glass (Stay and watch glass blowing)
-Point Defiance Park - Beach, bike, hike, walk around

Haha I do appreciate the input. I was looking at chihuly, seems pretty cool, I may check that out. I do have a restaurant planned for sat but that's cause I'm gettin hooked up, my boss knows some people.

Might be tough tho, I won't have a car. My friend said he would let me use his bike haha.

Almost everything I mentioned in Seattle is within walking distance if you plan it right. You can probably bang everything out in a day or so. Chihuly does look wicked sick... wish I went last time. If you've ever been to Vegas, he did all the glass work in the Bellagio lobby.

You still running p3k? I remember that site from way back in the day. I think at one point we exchanged buttons on the front page and I thought that was one of the highlights of my web designing days, lol.

Hah, yeah I still update it every now then. I don't have to the heart to take it down after 15 years.

Yup, I hear ya.. x3k.net will always be up and running forever. I'll keep renewing that domain until I'm 50, lol.
